ADMISSIONS

City University School Boys Preparatory
supports the Memphis City Schools System by serving as a college preparatory charter middle school for male scholars zoned to attend a low performing middle school within a fifteen-mile radius of the campus.

In order to meet this goal and the challenges of affording all scholars access to an academically rigorous program of study, City University Boys Prep does not discriminate in its admissions practices. In compliance with all federal, state and local laws, the school targets all populations within its defined radius, regardless of race, disability, religious belief, ethnicity, or national origin.

All scholars of City University School Boys Preparatory are admitted regardless of previous academic record. However, admission is contingent upon each student and his parents' willingness to sign the yearly Progress Inventory Plan and the Student Scholar's Code of Conduct. Both documents are developed to adhere to the mission of the school, to develop student scholars through scholarship and citizenship.

The initial enrollment period is posted on the application. This enrollment period may be extended or shortened, as required by law, regulation or policy. The Board of Trustees may reconsider the dates of this deadline if it becomes necessary in order to ensure the school reaches the greatest number of families in the community and fills all available seats.

The
Application of Admission to City University School Boys Preparatory is available online or can be mailed upon request during the enrollment period.
